Rock On!
Ready, Set, Rock and Roll at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa! My husband and I were super excited to be invited to stay and check out their new renovated hotel—and let me just say: WOW!!! The new look is fresh, inviting, and super luxurious. We were blown away with all the new updates. Their renovation includes: a 15-story hotel tower; vip gaming area; a beautiful new outdoor with 3 swimming pools and a Pool Bar & Grill; a 25,000 square foot Rock Spa & Salon that provides multiple services for their guests, and much, much more!
A getaway to Hard Rock Tampa was just what we needed. It has been a very stressful month with all the holiday festivities and work so we just needed some time for ourselves to relax, eat delicious food, and lounge by the pool with some yummy cocktails and that’s exactly what we did.
Room
Our room, a deluxe king room with pool-view, was located at the east tower; it was spacious and fully furnished with a contemporary vibe that made it simultaneously hip and cozy. We felt right at home with such a relaxing atmosphere. We loved the rock star touches around the room and bedding (as well as in the halls and across the premises). The bed was super comfortable and the foam pillows—ugh just amazing! We slept like babies all night long. The bathroom was spacious and bright with a walk-in shower and double-lighted vanity—just a perfect place to both prepare before the outing and crash after the fact! It had everything we needed. Night Out
After we checked our room out, we got ready for a fun night to explore all the amenities offered by the vast premises of the Hard Rock. We dined in the newest Italian restaurant, Cipresso—what an elegant and stylish restaurant, with amazing food and drinks! I highly recommend the bolognese and the lasagna; both were incredibly tasty. Later that night, we went to get ourselves acquainted with the new gaming area that has nearly 5,000 slot-machines, 179 tables-games, and many more entertaining options to meet all range of tastes. We walked around and admired the greatest pieces of Hard Rock music memorabilia in the casino’s walls. We couldn’t go to bed without testing our luck and for the first time I did pretty well—won $20 bucks! :) #Winning!
The next day we decide to sleep-in and order room service: best decision ever!! We got to enjoy our breakfast with a view while staying cozy in bed. We ordered fresh orange juice and coffee, accompanied by eggs, bacon, yogurt, waffles, oatmeal, avocado, croissant—and toast: the whole nine yards ;). Everything was mouth-watering. The icing on the cake that was our sojourn, was lounging by the pool. The new outdoor area is definitely the new hot spot at the Hard Rock Tampa! Such a fabulous outdoor space. The palm views and hip vibes was just the perfect complement to the previous’ evenings activities at the casino and culinary joints—they undoubtedly outdid themselves. We were lucky to have an 85 degree weather with clear blue skies, sunny, and a delicate breeze. The hubby and I spent most of the day laying at the in-pool loungers drinking our favorite cocktails. The watermelon cooler is such a yummy and refreshing cocktail (you must try it!) and the hubby ordered a refreshing Mojito (as he often tends to). We had lunch at the Pool Bar & Grill located in the pool deck. It serves delicious starters, salads, sandwiches in addition to a wide spectrum of signature-cocktails. I recommend ordering the shrimp cocktail, grilled chicken sandwich (and just treat yoself with their voluminous lobster roll—I did!). Without a doubt this was our highlight of our stay.
And even though our stay was too short (all great things tend to be ephemeral), we certainly had a memorable experience. You guys need to visit! Plan a family getaway or a fun trip with your friends!
